I had a fantastic stay at a well-equipped villa in Wells. The location was great, just a short walk to the town center. The villa had everything we needed, including a full washing machine and dishwasher. The large garden was perfect for the kids and our furry friend. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Great location with ample off-road car parking - a bonus in the area. Easy walking distance to local attractions and amenities. Comfortably accommodates a group of people. Nice dining area that can seat a large group.

Sometimes forgets that local residents exist and may not suit loud/lively groups. Couldn't enjoy the garden due to the restriction on ball games and unfriendly neighbors.

Loved the spacious kitchen/diner, perfect for family time. Also, great location within walking distance to the beach and amenities. Board games provided, although we had to eat out for every meal due to the unclean cooking utensils.

The house was conveniently located just minutes away from the harbor and shops. the west-facing patio and garden provided a perfect spot to enjoy the evening sun and relax. the kitchen was well-equipped and spacious, making it easy to prepare meals for a family of six. the house was clean on arrival and had plenty of hot water for showers.

The bedding in the room was dark grey and brown, not ironed and poorly fitted, which was far from ideal.

Stayed at Avocet House Villa and had a fantastic experience. the large and light kitchen and dining area was perfect for our family of six, both inside and at the outside table. the convenient bathroom and shower room downstairs were a great addition. the location was excellent, with easy walking access to the center and harbor side of Wells. We also loved the lovely garden, which provided a great space for the kids to play. the clean and modern decor of the house was a delightful touch. And the icing on the cake was the handy parking at the rear. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

Great value for money with spacious rooms, two fantastic showers, and a lovely kitchen diner. The location is brilliant, close to the Quay, pubs, and High St. The staff, particularly Mark, were helpful and accommodating, even removing the stair gate for us. The dog-friendly garden was a bonus.

When it comes to breakfast choices, one thing that could be improved is the variety of cooking utensils. They appeared to have never been cleaned, making us uncomfortable using them, and resulting in expensive meals out.

our recent stay in wells-next-the-sea was lovely, but staying at avocet house villa made it even better. the cozy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and convenient location near the quay and shops were all highlights. highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.
